The 2021 Dodge Charger Is Driver’s Auto Mart’s Used Car of The Week!

The 2021 Dodge Charger has that classic American style and flair for muscle car road runner. Some of its positives include its choice of a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD, its vast range of powerful V8s (especially the SRT Hellcats), its handsome style, and its easy-to-use infotainment system.

Engine and Performance

This 2021 muscle car has five different engines to choose from: Two different 3.6-liter V6s, a 5.7-liter V8, a 6.4.-liter V8, and two 6.2-liter supercharged V8.

The Charger SXT and GT models drive on a mighty 3.6-liter V6 with an output of 292 horsepower, which is upgraded to 300 horses in the SXT all-wheel-drive (AWD), as well as both GT variants.

Offered exclusively on the R/T trim is the 5.7-L V8, scoring an incredible output of 370, while the Scat Pack’s 6.4-L V8 upgrades to a far more astounding output of 485. Amazingly, these motors barely scratch the surface of what a supercharged 6.2-L can do, specifically for the SRT Hellcat. It’s a force to be reckoned with as it zooms on an output of 717 horsepower with 650 lb-ft of torque. There’s an even faster version of the Hellcat, with the Redeye, which develops a god-like output of 797 horsepower.

It’s worth noting that all supercharged Hellcats require premium gasoline. Additionally, all drivetrains are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. RWD systems are standard, while AWDs are options on the SXT and GT Chargers.

Exterior

Apart from a roofline and signature sloped shape, this 2021 Charger is the perfect embodiment of a modern husky American sedan. Its perfectly rounded nose contributes to its already incredible aerodynamic capabilities, while the rear involves the brand-differentiating layout of the “racetrack” tail light arrangement.

Alloy wheel sizes can range from 17-inches  to 20 inches, depending on the trim. Wheel designs and colors are also determined by how much equipment and power the Charger has, along with aerodynamic elements.

Interior

The inside of this Dodge Charger may be quite…expressive on the outside, but the inside can be described as a sporty conservative. This cabin cockpit type of dashboard that faces the more important gadgets towards the driver. More upgraded models have figure-hugging sports seats in leather, such as the Alcantara simulated suede or hound’ s-tooth-patterned cloth.

The gauge cluster display can also be customized to show various types of information, while the large 8.4-inch touchscreen spotlights the excellent Uconnect infotainment system.

From the base and beyond, the 2021 Dodge Charger includes many niceties such as chrome exhaust tips, LED daytime running lights, acoustic front glass and windshield, 17-inch alloy wheels, remote start, keyless entry/ignition, power windows with the “one-touch” front windows, automatic on/off headlights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, programmable digital gauge cluster, rear parking sensors, 7-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 4, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, two USB ports, and a 6-speaker audio setup.
