In 2024, Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has four trims – ES, LE, the SE, and the SEL trims. Under the hood of all trims is a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine capable of generating 152 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. All trims also come equipped with Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) all-wheel drive system.
Driving and Handling
Transmitting the power for every trim is an 8-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT). The fuel economy is also the same for every trim, delivering 26 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
LEDs are all the rage and standard for the 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, including daytime running LED lights, color- LED rear taillights, and an LED high mount stop light are joined by LED headlamps and fog lights. On the SE and SEL trim, automatic headlamps come standard. All trims also come with rear privacy glass, roof rails, and heated exterior mirrors. Standard on the 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a 7.0-inch touchscreen, HD Radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and a four-speaker sound system. Past the base, an 8-inch touchscreen with a smartphone-link display system (SDA), Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is added. Starting with the LE trim, Mitsubishi Connect with a two-year trial and FAST-Key entry system comes standard. The SE trim adds navigation and a six-speaker system. The SEL trim can upgrade to an 8-speaker system with an add-on package.
Safety Features and Warranty
The 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross comes with many standard safety features, including side curtain airbags, front-seat-mounted airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, advanced dual-stage front airbags, three-point seatbelts complete with head restraints, traction control, active stability control, and hill start assist. Standard advanced safety features include a forward collision mitigation system and lane departure warning system with pedestrian detection. Adaptive Cruise Control, blind-spot warning system, lane change assist, and a rear cross-traffic alert system can be found on the SE and SEL trims. The SEL trims can add a lane departure warning system with pedestrian detection at high speed and adaptive cruise control with an add-on package.
All Mitsubishi models come with a basic 5-year/60,000-mile warranty. It also has a limited powertrain warranty for 10-years/100,000 miles and an anti-corrosion warranty for 7-years/100,000 miles. Finally, roadside assistance comes with a 5-year warranty.
