The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Is Driver’s Auto Mart’s Used Car of The Week!

Since its inception, the Chrysler Pacifica has always stood out in its segment and proved to be one of the most valuable assets for minivan lovers. While rivals such as the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna certainly hold their own, in the end, they are no match for the multi-award-winning Pacifica.

This week, Driver’s Auto Mart is highlighting the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica, particularly for its incredible spaciousness, a slew of entertainment and safety features, along with its popular Stow n’ Go seats. Let’s explore a bit of what this Used Car of The Week has in store.

Engine and Drive

The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica uses a standard 3.6-liter V6, which is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The minivan is highly efficient with up to 28 mpg on the highway (for front-wheel-drive models), and also has an energy-saving start/stop saving system. If you’d rather do without the restarts that stop/stop systems are known for, you can easily deactivate it with a touch of a button.

Buyers should expect a drive that is quiet yet powerful. The 9-speed automatic allows for the car to drive smoothly and without any unpleasant surprises. The V6 has more than enough pep in its steps to zoom through the freeway and even has a rating to tow up to 3,600 lbs.

Exterior

This Pacifica has a suit that emphasizes its curves in all the right places, making it stand out from the batch of competitors both old and young. The minivan has fun and charming features like its frequent use of glass all-season tires, and dual-pane panoramic sunroof (only available on some models).

If one got their hands on a hybrid variant, the design wouldn’t sway too much from its gasoline-counterpart, except for the “hybrid” badging and the “fuel door” moved to the front.

Interior and Standard Features

The cabin has room for up to seven or eight passengers, and this depends on whether or not that particular model has the second row bench or two captain’s seats. With all of the seats in place, the 2020 Pacifica provides 32.3 cubic feet of cargo volume, then 87.5 cubic feet with the third-row bench down. Stow n’Go seating also allows owners to manually remove and store second-row seats into the floor.

The base model Touring is highly-equipped with a power liftgate, power sliding side doors, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, tri-zone climate control and a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Touring L model also adds on leather upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel, chrome roof rack and 3rd-row sunshades.

On top of a large number of airbags and traction-control systems, the vehicle has plenty of standard safety features that include blind-spot monitoring, rear automated emergency braking, and rear parking sensors.
