The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro Is Driver’s Auto Mart’s Used Car of The Week!

Chevrolet announced that their famed Camaro pony would make its final appearance in the dealership lot for the 2024 model year. Therefore it was only fitting to honor that legendary car as Our Used Car of The Week!

This sports car is considered a staple for American sports vehicles and the overall history of the car market. The 2020 Camaro has four incredible engine options at its disposal and a wide range of trims that offer different niceties.

Engine

The 2020 Chevy Camaro has four available powertrain options: a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharger, a 3.6-liter V6, a 6.2-liter V8, and a 6.2-liter supercharged V8.

The standard 2.0-L turbo starts with an output of 275 horsepower and 296 lb-ft of torque. While these figures are highly efficient, upgrading to the 3.6-L V6 provides 335 hp with 284 lb-ft of torque. While the torque takes a slight hit, it offers far more power.

Moving on to the V8, the Camaro SS proves to be much more capable in both speed and strength, as it has 455 hp with an equal amount of torque. Finally, the 6.2-L supercharger shows that it’s the greatest by producing a stupendous output of 650 horses with an equal amount of torque.

Exterior

The 2020 model year of the Camaro saw a bit of a refashioning, with some taken aback by the eclectic look of the bumpers, front and rear, along with the headlights on the coupe. Besides these changes, the Camaro stayed aligned with the classic 1969 model. Other quirky features include an intense front stare bolstered by protruding hindquarters and a sleek roof.

Interior

The interior of the 2020 Camaro fuses old-school material with new ones. There are some parts of the OG model, like the dual hoods on top of the instrument cluster and various chrome surrounds on several controls. More updated elements included heated seats and a touch-screen infotainment system. The sports seats have a divine feel, as they are accommodating for all sizes.

Standard Features

The entry-level Chevy Camaro 1LS is plentiful with features. It brings with it the (previously mentioned) 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine connected to a 6-speed manual transmission, together with indulgences like power windows, cruise control, an 8-way-power driver’s seat and a 7-inch touch-screen audio system that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, dual USB ports, AUX input, and GM’s 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

On top of this, there’s a driver-selector mode that has different functions like Snow and Ice, Tour and Sport, plus automatic climate control and a color driver information display. Upmarket features involve push-button start and keyless entry and a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel. Safety gadgets involve several airbags and stability control. Each trim has the brand’s 3rd-generation infotainment technology.
