Mitsubishi knows that one crossover SUV does not fit all, so they’ve taken to diversifying their current crossover and SUV lineup with different trims for drivers to choose from. 2019 Eclipse Cross
Introduced for the 2018 model year, the Eclipse Cross takes its inspiration from the brand’s classic Eclipse Sports car that’s no longer in production. Featuring a sporty and unconventional style, the new 2019 Eclipse cross seats up to five passengers, has available Super All-Wheel Control, interior tech features, advanced safety features and more. Fuel economy is within a standard range for a crossover- rated at 26 mpg in the city and up to 29 mpg on the highway. The 2019 Eclipse Cross has a starting MSRP of $23,595 (plus destination fee).
2019 Outlander
The Outlander is widely considered to be the brand’s flagship model and the 2019 model is both spacious and practical. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine comes standard, but a 3.0-liter V6 engine is also available as an upgrade. Adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and the ability to seat seven passengers makes for an exceptional SUV. The 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander has a fuel economy of 25 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway and a starting MSRP of $24,695 (plus destination fee).
2019 Outlander Sport
Buyers seeking a more compact crossover will be happy to find what they’re looking for in the 2019 Outlander Sport. Featuring a 7-inch touchscreen display, a rearview camera, active stability control, and lane change assist as standard offerings, the Outlander Sport seats five and achieves up to 24 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. Its entry-level price is hard to beat with a starting MSRP of $20,945 (plus destination fee).
2019 Outlander PHEV
The 2019 Green SUV of the Year as recognized by Green Car Journal is for those interested in going green and saving at the pump. This best-selling plug-in hybrid SUV has must-have features such as Super All-Wheel control for maximum traction and control, available blind spot warning and lane change assist, all while offering the efficiency of a plug-in hybrid. As the first plug-in hybrid in its segment, the Outlander PHEV offers a fuel economy of 74 MPGe when the internal combustion engine works in tandem with the hybrid system. The Outlander PHEV offers to seat five and has a starting MSRP of $34,595 (plus destination fee).
