2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4

Joining the Mirage for 2017 is the all-new 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and like the Mirage, the Mirage G4 was engineered with fuel efficiency in mind. Unlike the Mirage which is a subcompact hatchback, new Mirage G4 is a subcompact sedan that has a new and modern style. The Mirage G4 is full of features everyone can love like many customization options, plenty of cargo space, and a leader in the class when it comes to fuel economy.

When it comes to other models in the subcompact class, the Mirage G4 smokes the competition. The Mirage G4 has features that no other vehicle in the same class have including stylistic features like a leather wrapped steering wheel, a rearview camera, over 70 total inches in legroom, and a 10 year or 100,00 mile powertrain warranty.

There is one engine standard across both of the Mirage G4 configurations and it is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine. This engine produces 78 horsepower and up to 74 lb-ft of torque. The engine also is incredibly fuel efficient as it has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 35 mpg in the city and 42 mpg on the highway.

The Mirage G4 ES comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission and the Mirage G4 SE comes standard with a CVT, or continuously variable transmission. A CVT is a type of automatic transmission that automatically changes through a range of different gear ratios depending on what is needed.

The subcompact vehicles is a small, but spacious, four-door and five-seater vehicle. The interior of the Mirage G4 has comfortable cloth seats, with a leather option of course, a silver shift panel, a chrome accented HVAC panel, and a spacious trunk for ultimate cargo volume. There are optional interior features besides the leather seats including a leather wrapped shift knob, and chrome plated inner door handles for those who want a bit more of a luxurious feel.

The exterior of the Mirage G4 is stylin’ with features such as halogen headlights, a dark chrome plated upper-grille, 14-inch steel wheels, a short antenna, and a door sash that is blacked out. Other features like 15-inch wheels, fog lights, and an SE badge come standard on the SE trim, but are not options for the base level trim.

Technology is broken down into two main categories when it comes to vehicles; safety and entertainment. Don’t fret, the Mirage G4 may be extremely affordable, but that doesn’t mean it lacks in the technology department. Safety features like hill start assist, and anti-lock braking system (ABS), advanced dual-stage front airbags, and active stability control (ASC) are just some of the many standard safety features that come with both Mirage G4 trims.

Then, there is the entertainment sector of technology. The Mirage G4 comes standard with plenty of entertainment features including a four-speaker audio system that has AM/FM/CD/and MP3 capability, a USB port, and a 12-volt outlet. Those are just the standard features. The Mirage G4 has many entertainment options as well (all of which come standard on the upper trim level, the SE). Some of these options include a 6.5-inch audio display screen, a bluetooth handsfree phone system, steering wheel mounted audio controls, and many more.
