Summertime is usually the time automakers start gearing up for the next model year and leave the current model year behind. Most of the time, the same vehicle is offered, with a couple of tweaks. After coasting the next-generation wave for the 2022 Mitsubishi Motors lineup, the automaker then added a couple of Ralliart special edition models in 2023 to drum up the hype for the Mitsubishi Vision Ralliart concept. The 2024 Mitsubishi Motors lineup has new additions for every model, giving each a special tweak for the new model year.

2024 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid

The only plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in the Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) lineup, that might soon change with the introduction of the 2023 Mitsubishi Colt, a revival of the Mitsubishi Colt sports car, with a hybrid option. Able to deliver an all-electric range (AER) of 38 miles when only using the  20 kwH lithium-ion battery powered twin motor system, the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid provides a total range of 420 miles. For 2024, an all-new Platinum Edition has been added, featuring a special Black Diamond paint with an Alloy Silver roof color combination. Other new additions include an all-new blacked out appearance package (Black Edition)with semi-aniline premium leather-appointed seating surfaces, a black dynamic shield, black chrome window trim, and black roof rails for the SE and SEL trims of the 2024 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid SUV.

2024 Outlander

Once the flagship of the automaker before shifting towards battery-electric vehicle (BEV) technology, the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV set the benchmark for the lineup with the introduction of the 2022 next generation model. Following suit in introducing new appearance options, the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander also feared a special Black Edition with the same features as the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid. New trims are also being added, such as Platinum Edition outfitted with a special Black Diamond paint with Alloy Silver roof color combination, Satin hood emblem, silver gauge trim, and a Light Grey interior.

2024 Outlander Sport

One of MMNA’s best-selling models for years, the Outlander Sport combines adventure with an already great-value SUV. Building on top of Mitsubishi’s All-Wheel Control (AWC) system, the 2024 model adds more capability with an off-road edition. The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Trail Edition comes with many standard features, including black hood graphics, TRAIL front and rear effects, black side and fender moldings, black hood protector and tailgate trim, black inner door handle protectors, mud flaps, and all-weather floor mats.

2024 Eclipse Cross

Another Mitsubishi sports car brought back to match the times, the Eclipse Cross crossover brought new style to the Mitsubishi lineup. Also bringing new technology to the brand, the Eclipse Cross continues to offer modern technology options with a new hands-free electronic tailgate with kick-motion sensor standard on the Eclipse Cross SE (second trim-level) and SEL trims. The SE trim also features Adaptive Cruise Control, a rear USB port, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Continuing the run of the Limited Edition (LE) trim, Mitsubishi Connect with a two-year trial and FAST-Key entry system are now standard. Also a little off-road inclined, the 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross also adds a new Special Edition, featuring rugged off-road-inspired enhancements.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage and Mirage G4

Although Mitsubishi places a lot of focus on its SUVs, there is no competing with America’s most fuel-efficient non-hybrid, gasoline-fueled vehicle, the 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback. Its sibling, the Mirage G4 sedan packs just as much value, with a sportier look. Both models streamline an assortment of standard features – a driver seat armrest, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers. The 2024 model year introduces Graphite Gray and Jet Black paint color options, replacing Mercury Gray and Mystic Black.
